Who We Treat

Pregnancy

From the moment you conceive, your body undergoes extraordinary changes! During pregnancy the biomechanics and function of your spine and pelvis are affected by a hormone called Relaxin - causing ligament laxity. This helps to allow your body to stretch so your baby can grow. These physiological changes place extra stresses on your body, which may lead to pain, hypermobility and dysfunction. Chiropractic care in pregnancy: improves spinal and pelvic alignment, decreases pain, corrects postural imbalances, decreases the need for medication, makes pregnancy more comfortable as baby grows, hands-on treatments to help allow for a smooth and natural labour and  promotes faster recovery postpartum.

Postpartum & Women's Health

As pregnancy ends you welcome your  4th trimester. While relaxin is still high and your body slowly starts to put itself back together, we want to make sure this transition is happening as pain-free as possible. With the demands of becoming a new mother, adapting to the physical, emotional and traumatic experiences during birth - it isn’t always easy. Regardless of how your baby was born (be it medicated/ unmedicated/ via c-section) your body is healing and adjusting to its new belly and chiropractic can assist with a faster and easier recovery! Happy mom = happy baby!

Newborn Babies

The journey from the womb to the world can be a lot for these little humans! During labour and at birth babies undergo many stresses and birth traumas. Whether it be a vaginal birth or via caesarean, they are tugged and pulled by the head/neck/arms etc. Lack of mobility/shifts in certain joints may impact baby’s development and cause discomfort. As chiropractors we use very gentle adjustment techniques where we are able to move baby’s joints through all ranges of motion, relaxing the joints before they become problematic. Stimulating the nervous and immune systems through adjustments help alleviate symptoms of:  colic, reflux, torticolis , constipation, cramping, difficulty winding, latching difficulties and developmental delays.

Babies & Toddlers

As babies develop, so do their brains and neural pathways to their little bodies. These brain to body signals are what power them to reach their developmental milestones! Each milestone your baby reaches is an exciting one and we want to make sure they’re reaching them in order and within a “specific” timeframe. From rolling, sitting and standing to running - they shouldn’t miss a step! Chiropractic care for little ones is so important for their foundation. We believe that educating parents and giving them the tools needed to help their children achieve all their milestones, are what makes for healthy, well-rounded kids!

Families

Whether it's paediatric care for the little ones, routine check-ups for adults, or specialized attention for the elderly, Dr. Moodley ensures that every member of your family receives personalized, compassionate care tailored to their specific stage of life. Her approach emphasizes holistic wellness for families seeking lifelong chiropractic care. Some common conditions treated include: any type of musculoskeletal pain, migraines/headaches,  joint dysfunction, sciatica, pinched nerves, jaw tightness, disc herniations,  postural assessments,  injuries, tech neck,  and so much more …

Athletes

Chiropractic plays an important role in both preventing sports related injuries and the rehabilitation of such injuries. Most musculoskeletal injuries in athletes are a result of overtraining, repetitive use of a particular muscle group, compensation, lack stretching / poor form. Regular chiropractic care (which includes adjustments, joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, stretching, strength exercises and rehabilitation) prevents future reoccurrence, improves range of motion and increases performance.
